I am doing a Volcano Project for my high school science class. I plan on doing the Sakurajima volcano. It's 400 points. I need to do research and a model. I've search websites to find information about it but it wasn't enough. Can someone give me a site about the Sakurajima Volcano? Or any other Volcano located in Japan =] . Also a guide to making a model .

I also need suggestions on making the model. What kind of material should I use? And that is the best way to make it erupt?

the sites you've recommended isn't really working for me or maybe i just missed it. i really need to find research on this. I need details about the volcano, the type, the type of rocks, the elevating, plants and animal life that live on or near the base, how it is important. details about its eruption.. the type of rocks it produces and such.

maybe Sakurajima is not "it". What Volcano can you recommend that will be able to have all of the information and plus one that no one would thought of doing as a project

with some links please =]

best way to make it erupt is either electrically or by a fuse that you ignite with a match.
