Mackinac Island, Motor City, Motown, Lake Michigan, snow, and for some reason the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald ( I'm pretty sure they were headed for Detroit) Anyway, it's all favorable.

In the map, Michigan looks so broken up and irregular. Also, the home state of former President Ford.

It looks like a mitten, and there's not much going on in the state. The job market is horrible. Winters are dreary. Summers are awesome.
