I stay out of falling in love with a team although I do love to watch sports for the competition and excitement of close games and supreme show of talent from talented individuals.
I absolutely HATE when sports fans say "WE" did this and "WE" won that game because "WE" did x. ...As if they actually had something to do with the game(s).
In the case of basketball all you have are 20 or so people on a team, who actually make a difference in the outcome of a game.
Those morons who use "we" in their sentences need to step back, take a deep breath, and realize how stupid they sound.

it takes the love you have for just one player. a friend of mine used to like henry before he signed for arsenal and when he started watching arsenal's games because of his love for henry, he developed passion for the whole team. so it's the passion you have for a player in the team to fall in love with the whole team....
