The advantage of having yahoo.com as your address is that if you ever change Internet providers you can still keep your yahoo address. I have an sbcglobal account merged with my yahoo account and I give people the yahoo address for just that reason.

they are the same company its just that sbcglobal.net is a catchy email ,,,so they are both the same,,,,,,,i prefer yahoo.com,,10 pts plz

If you like Outlook or another PC-based email client, sbc. Yahoo constrains you to a browser-based email interface. To me, that is less preferred to Outlook, etc.
