They do exist, but I wouldn't want to be in their shoes when they go before the Lord. "Go away. I never knew you."

Too bad, so sad!

No major religion has offered any PROOF of the existence of God other than pointing to what's written in old books. News flash folks, not everything written in books is true, no matter how old. So until Christians, Muslims, etc., have any proof of God, the atheists have more credibility. Christians and Muslims are basically just idol worshipers no different from the ancient Greeks or Egyptians. They've just substituted Zeus and Rah for Jesus and Allah.

Huh? What is the point of asking this question - You can "prove" the existence of atheists just by asking people, "are you an atheist?" - those that respond with a "yes" - are atheists! Really, can you prove the existence of Catholics, Jews, Lutherans, Baptists.........?

I guess If you couldn't prove their existence. You could only assume they exist. But obviously there is plenty of evidence of their existence.

On a side note. The idea that god exists. And the idea that god does not exist. Are both hypotheses that can not be concluded as of right now.

My opinion of course.

Some people who are atheist have other false beliefs, they turn to other superficial gods. They believe in the god of psychiatry and mind control. So if there would not be atheist there would be those always that would turn from god to something else as a belief system.

Even though there is no valid and reliable scientific evidence to support the beliefs that they have some people must believe in something if they don't believe in god. Their belief in the existence of this false god called psychiatry that they promote is much like that of a religious zealot. Even when they have no convincing scientific facts behind them. Yet it is people like this that lead us into wars, I wonder why we listen to them?

1. There is no valid and reliable scientific evidence to support this biological theory of emotions without appealing to the mystical realm of make believe, yet some people believe in this anyway just the same as some would believe in their religious God and then still insist on calling themselves an atheist, which is just switching one false belief system for another.

2. Psychology is simply a philosophy that is said to describe the human psyche in much the same way some people use their religion to describe a mystical invisible dietie and human beings and peoples roles in the world around them.

3. Appealing to mystical invisible dieties is an appeal to ignorance

4. There is no valid and reliable scientific physical evidence for the existence of any mental illness it is a false belief much as a religion in many cases

5. A myriad of mystical invisible dieties have been posited by emphatically superstitious societies one of these deities being psychiatry and the DSM which is the psychiatric bible and these can all be proven to be products of overly active imaginations (today's biological theories are no more then myth) and ignorance.

6. Believing in psychiatry seems to become quite absurd when those who posit the mystical nature of it begin explaining why and how it exist in the face of contradictory physical evidence.

7. As society learns the truth the need for mind control gets pushed further and further back and most people progress as they should, some people would like to see the world destroyed and have a NAZI side to them and believe that mind control is the proper way of going about things that is all there really is to it. Giving up one god for another.

I am an atheist because I don't believe in deities and the word atheist describes this state of disbelief. I don't believe in deities because no argument or evidence presented to me in support of their existence has been convincing.

1. Biology adequately describes life and emotions without appealing to mystical invisible dieties

2. Astronomy adequately describes the formation of stars/planets/universe/etc without appealing to mystical invisible dieties

3. Geology adequately describes the evolution of the Earth, land formations, etc without appealing to mystical invisible dieties

4. Psychology describes the human psyche better than appealing to mystical invisible dieties

5. Appealing to mystical invisible dieties is an appeal to ignorance

6. There's no physical evidence for the existence of mystical invisible dieties

7. A myriad of mystical invisible dieties have been posited by emphatically superstitious societies and have been proven to be products of overly active imaginations (today's religion is tomorrow's myth) and ignorance.

8. Believing in mystical invisible dieties seems to become quite absurd when those who posit the mystical invisible dieties begin explaining why and how they exist in the face of contradictory physical evidence.

9. As scientific knowledge increases, the role of the mystical invisible dieties oddly gets pushed further and further back.

10. Mystical invisible dieties are mystical invisible dieties (ie can never be found by empirical methods)

According to me there is no one known as ATHEIST. According to me atheist is a person who does not have any belief or confidence. In this world everyone has the belief in one thing or the other. some one have believe in god, some one belief in nature and the others belive in themselves. So there is no question of a person as Atheist. Its just the matter how we understand it. If a person does not believe in anything then he is equal to a rock because he wont be able to do anything because he will not have the confidence to do it.

Atheists can prove their existence if you ask them to hit you with a stick, I'm sure they'll oblige ..... but I can't vouch for the nihilists. *LOL* :-)
