I hated it from day one! I hate it by principle! Everything about it annoys me...the shallow idea of music, the dumb contestants and hosts, the terrible and depressing theme music, set, and lighting. And then when they added that jerk Ryan Seacrest, I hated it even more. I'm sick of people asking me to watch it with them, and everyone at the office assuming that I like it. If I say I don't like it, they say, "Well yeah it has gone down-hill with all purposely bad contestents and with Paula Abdul acting crazy and all the drama...." but they never understand if I say that I just hated it all along. They act like I'm a traitor to the freakin country. If you hate American Idol, are you letting the terrorists win or something? SOMEBODY TELL ME YOU HATE THE WHOLE SHOW.

ABSOLUTELY !! I can proudly say that i haev NEVER watched AMERICAN IDOL. It's a load of CRAP. The commercials are annoying. Waste of airtime

I thought it ws O.K., then Hated IT!!! seriously, who cares about people getting ticked off, crying a whole new Niagra Falls over losing a singing competition. People back in the day didn't have stupid little reality show like that to make them famous.America is now spoiled rotten.....

Back in the sixties they had a show much like Idol, called The Gong Show. I ignored that one too.

i hate it just cuz everyone likes it..i dont even know half the stuff yr talking about because i wont watch it..the only one i saw which i watched on the new was when that guys wife died and he sang you belong to me and everyone cried...i will never watch it...i hate going into the category on here of television cuz every other question is about this stupid show..I HATE THE DAMN SHOW...i will never watch it EVER

ME, ME, ME, ME !!!! I despise that show and NEVER watch it. It's a mindless waste of time, and there's nothing entertaining about it. I tried to watch the very first show, and it was too painful. I never tried again. I wish it would die.

I hate it because of Simon Cowel. His actions tell others that he is nothing but rude, and he only cares about himself. Actions speak for themselves. And his speak loudly.
