Do you think animals have a sense of their mortality, or are humans the only ones blessed with that gift?

I don't think we give animals the credit they deserve. They are very smart and help man in a lot of ways..Yes,They know there own mortality.....

I think that maybe animals sense their mortality even more so than humans...

From what I have learned from my pets. Their real fear is of getting hurt. It is hard to tell if they try not to get killed or think of death.
