I'm sure he'd love them. Hamsters are vegetarians and would definitely go for them in the wild. Anyway your hamster will instinctively not eat too much of anything that is bad for it unless it is starving.

Actually, hamsters are omnivores. That means that they can eat chicken to turkey (make sure it's cooked well!). Strawberries are a perfect treat, but do not waste a whole strawberry on it; they can't eat the whole thing. Give them a sliver. I also strongly suggest carrots. Hamsters go crazy for them! But, cut that into slivers as well, so it's easy on the teeth (unless it needs its teeth trimmed!). DO NOT give your hamster lettuce of any kind, or uncooked potato, chocolate, raw kidney beans, garlic, onions, or any other sweets. Don’t feed it anything spicy, either. Banana, sweet corn, cucumber, apple, cheese, turnip, and raisins are perfect snacks, plus the carrots and strawberries. I wouldn't try to give it fish, though, because it hasn't been a known hamster food. Hope this helps!

Definately. Fresh fruit is the best for an animal like that. Just don't give them to many. Cut it up into a few small pieces. My old hamster liked bananas

Sure. Hamsters are vegetarians, and I bet they'd appreciate a treat like a strawberry.
