I think an answer to this question could actually be, "Why would people actually like Paris Hilton?"

Paris Hilton gets a lot of press and it's all negative which is bad for society because people tend to look up to celebrities and want to be like them. So how many people do you see nowadays dressing up their little chiwawua in pink clothes? She's a bad role model. I hear all the time of celebs that donate to and open their own charities, but you never hear about Paris doing anything good with the money she has. She's also really uglllly and needs a nose job. A little bird called and said he wanted his beak back.

I don't hate her but I hate the fact that I can't seem to avoid her. I'm just not interested in her antics and boring self promotion and I can't understand why people want to see her on magazines and tv all the time when I could be watching something more interesting. She's a bit of a waste of space

Because she's an overindulged, spoiled rich kid who has never done an honest day's work in her entire life. She's famous for being famous, and having more money than brains. Maybe 45 days in the can will snap her out of her narcissistic life of self-centered bliss -- but I doubt it.
I do hope a video of her scrubbing toilets finds its way to YouTube.

her and her family should try to give back to the community, like helping the homeless. she just goes around thinking that her money will buy everything.

She behaves like a spoiled child...and flaunts it. Her insecurities show through though...she isn't as good looking or as popular as she'd like to be.
