It is either Hayden/Gilchrist or McGrath & co to drive home the advantage in the beginning.
But to be able to do that you must be really well prepared. What do you say?

In almost all their matches the trend was decided in the first 10-15 overs.

I feel this was possible only because of the gap between Aussies and the rest.

if they had played it sunday ...50 overs & gilchrist played
with out Squash ball...fair umpires ruled..

this ICC and Speed all are under obligation to Big Australia Continent.that is the truth
they do whatever to beat srilanka cuz
if they played fair & squre Oz would be doomed
so gilchist took the wrong way
its acrime

What I have observed after watching the matches played by Australia is that they start attacking from the word go. If any team are able to take 3 or Australian wickets within the first over or if any team plays against Australia without loosing any wicket within the 15 overs, Australian team comes under pressure and the opposition can take advantage from that position.

Mate you got it right, most of the teams Do not have players who can preform in big games.
All the teams have great players to deliver the best in favorable conditions it is the Aussies who rule the world in all forms of cricket.

I think you are right. Not only that, I believe that they had a unwavering belief , not only in themselves, but their team mates.
If you look at Gilchrist, all his inning es were pretty poor by his standard. but he was supplemented by his mates. In the final, Hayden did not have his usual average but Gilchrist found form, and then all the bowlers performed. Compare individual players to other teams individual players and 95% of the time, their ability is equal. I think it was their mental attitude and determined self-belief in themselves that made the difference.

I think you are right. But this happens for all the cricket playing nation. If they have one or two early wickets the team is in great advantage.
