But NOT the other way around?
This happened in Milwaukee. A black man who is the worst racist I have ever seen (worse than Al and Jesse by far) calls white people names (Hispanics too) on his radio show and now says he's HAPPY that the mother of a white Conservative readio host died in a fire. WHY isn't THIS national news?

YES - I understand he has a smaller audience - does it make it LESS wrong to you?

Michael McGee Sr. made the comments during his radio show on WNOV-AM Thursday morning. Charlie Sykes is a radio talk show host on WTMJ-AM. Sykes' mother, Katherine B. Sykes, died in a house fire Tuesday. The Ozaukee County Coroner said Thursday that Sykes died of smoke inhalation

RLP, please absorb what I am about to tell you as an answer. Please!

Do not be discouraged by this man! Not that you agree with him by any stretch of the imagination..........but listen to him when you must and know, know within your heart, his evil and satanic verbiage does more to harm him and his followers than any intelligent dialog in debate could ever accomplish.

He does not, I repeat, He does not represent the majority of blacks and he never will.

His garbage will be his doom!

His hatred will be his doom!

Keep on keeping on RLP, keep the faith and continue on toward the prize!

Trust me, Michael McGee Sr., will reap his harvest sooner or later!!

You didn't need to ask this question, because what you said is the exact answer. Politically I'd say I'm a cross between an independent and a libertarian, and I listen to both conservative and liberal talk shows. First, talk radio is more cerebral, so you have more conservatives listening to it, because many of them would just as soon listen to a good debate as a good song while driving to work. When a liberal turns on the radio in the car, they want to hear Fergie or Pink rather than a discusion about boring life and death decisions. Second, the liberal radio shows are nothing more than David Letterman like comedians making cracks about the looks or kids of republicans. Liberals have no logical, intelligent host who treats the other party with any kind of respect, and they rarely have anyone from another party on their show. All the conservative shows I listen to are overall intelligent, civil and often bring counter points on their shows for comparison. This is why.

They are in control of the media . And they don't have an honest ounce of decency or credibility .

More ignorant than that is some of the answers you got . The liberals wonder why we think they're hypocritical, elitists, who only hunger for power and control . Well, just look at how they compared this to Rush having bumper stickers that say Libs are stupid ? WTF .. .. .how in the world does that EQUATE with that racist showing joy over the death of someone's mom ? Or the words of Hannity or O'Reilly ? Or Rush calling Fox a faker ?
The very fact that they can't see the difference is a true and ever-present reminder that they are the enemy of good !!
God help us all !!

Liberals can't say whatever they want on the radio, Imus was fired and this guy probably will be too. The process takes a few days.

As an educated person, you know better than to make such broad statements about such obscure events. But you do this in the service of your ideology, which holds that the end justifies the means. Someday, you might realize that such methods are not Christian.

Hopefully the hand of god will come down and do something far worse to him or his family! If Imus can be fired for FAR less inappropriate speech, this clown should get the axe, literally! Just goes to show you the ACLU and the politically correct speech police have a double standard when the racism goes the other way!

Sounds like a lunatic to me. Disgusting. I think this guy will join Imus in the unempoyment line. The article said he had been fired before. Looks like it again. The perils of free speech...

Hate speech against Christians, conservatives, and capitalists is a sacred cow on the extreme left wing propaganda mills (ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, and their affiliates). Negative Bushspin is mandated by George Soros and moveon.org

I thought political correctness was the culprit? The guy said what he meant and stood behind it when questioned by a caller. What's the problem? I seem to recall Rush taunting Michael Fox and calling him a faker. The sword cuts both ways. Obviously there is still plenty of room for hatred in our country, you ooze it.

If you had just made the point that it is horrible to say you are glad someone's mother died in a fire, I'd agree with you 100 percent. But to include whiny nonsense about how conservatives can't say anything about liberals is simply absurd. Can't conservatives make a point without ignoring or distorting reality? It sure would make for a nice change of pace....

I saw this guy once, and you raise an excellent question. It is true that the liberals have free speech and the conservatives can say what they want. You will even find that here...
