In Saudi Arabia a man was assaulted by his two wives when he said he was going to get a third wife. When he said that he was only joking, but now he has to find one to 'save face' because now it will look like he is letting his wives boss him around if he doesn't get one. Would you protest if your man said something like this?

Once a man has made a desision women have absolutely no right to interfere, especially when it's their husband who is the one to support her and keep her safe.
If you want another wife sweetie I will happily welcome her into the family!

If a man can have more than one wife, why can't a woman have more than one husband? First off he has two displeased wives he needs to deal with already, why is he trying to get another one. If he really wants to save face he needs to be a man and commit his self to the two he already has. That is telling the truth and not letting his self be bossed by anyone, after all marriage is a commitment for all sides and a wifes opinion is just as needed as her husbands.

in certain traditions a man can have multiple wives only if he can support & treat them will all the utmost respect without having to favor one over the other...
i honestly have never been in the situation to decide if i will allow it because..call me selfish but if i loved a man i think i would want him all to myself...

Yes I would. one of my downfalls is I am jealous. I would see I secondary wife as an insult and a betrayal. No one wants to be the "old toy".

Well, since we don't live in Saudi Arabia, I'd have to say that yes, I'd be a tad offended.

The story you just told is common over here. Would I protest? I don't know, all I know even though I would eventually accept if I would be hurt, yet for me I won't ever have that problem. Mine says that one is enough.

Oh please, that'd be great, we could split everything! I'd always have a friend to go shopping with and drive around looking for parking spots. We could do each others hair and I wouldnt have to wear ear plugs at night so I didnt hear my husband snoring. Im so jealous. I want a wife!! Where do we sign up?
