Is there gonna be Spiderman 4? If so, will Tobey Maguire still be the Spiderman??

USA has optioned a Spiderman 4.
However, Maguire and Dunst have said that they'll only return if Sam Raimi does.
Sam Raimi is second in line for New Line's version of 'The Hobbit' if Peter Jackson turns it down.

As a lifelong Spider-Man fan and a super duper Medical Billing Specialist, there is no doubt in my little mind that Tobey Maguire will return for Spider-Man 4 and more Spider-man movies in years to come.
However, the real reason why Spider-Man 3 has gotten so many mixed reviews is because of Tobey Maguire's personal life. It sucks. If only Tobey Maguire had dumped his freeloading girlfriend and have full custody of his daughter like more than half of the people in the world wanted him to do, then Spider-Man 3 would have gotten much better reviews from around the world.

In an interview prior to the realse of Spiderman 3, Maguire said that if the material is there for a Spiderman 4, the there would be one. Kirsten Dunst (who plays Mary Jane Watson) stated that it would be rediculous to have another Spidey movie without Maguire or herself in the roles that they have had since the movies started. Guess we'll have to "wait and see".
