Crystal is a term used by average people to refer to a rock or mineral that is transparent or translucent, sometimes coloured. Some precious gems that are crystals are ruby, emerald, and sapphire. The white crystals used for healing and divination are usually made of quartz.

But other things are also crystal in form, such as table salt, sugar, ice, and other ordinary things.

mostly carbon what is compressed with heat and other minerals for years then it starts to crystalise. valuable because they are not created naturally over night
