Mine is Argiope. They're so docile and BIG. Plus the perform a great service in catching and eating insects. I get them in my garden every year.

We've had jumping spiders and wolf spiders in the house, and we try to shoo them outside. The Bold jumper (Phidippus audax) is pretty cool looking - black and white, and trying to get one of them to go where you want can be a challenge...!

My favorite is the green spider, sometimes called green lynx spider. I am a landscaper and see them every Autumn in gardens. They catch small grasshoppers, wasps and other insects. I even had one with an egg sack on my big Salvia "Indigo Spires" a few years ago. The babies were so tiny. They are really cool. But I don't want them on me.

I went to Bermuda a few times and there are these great spiders that look like crabs in webs!

They are docile and beautiful, actually I have seen these spiders on postage stamps. I think they are kind of a Bermuda trademark. Man you know they are beautiful!!!

I have a tattoo of a redback where the red bit is in the shape of a heart. So I guess that would be my fave, cause it looks pretty. And I think the St Andrews Cross has a really interesting pattern on it.

I'm not sure, but I think they're called happy face spiders. They have a smiley face on their abdomen--no joke! They live in Hawaii, and unfortunately I don't, so I've never seen one in person. Just in pictures.

I don't know the technical name, but we always called them "banana spiders". They are always in the tomato garden. They are huge black bodied with bright yellow vertical stripes.
