I lived with three guys for a while and it was great cause I was their princess and they all tried to make me happy and stuff:-)
Just friends...nothing "funny"!
What's important is to make a good match with your roommate...gender has nothing to do with it!
And don't forget how competitive girls get...you won't have any of that from a guy...Good luck!

Personally, I would not like it. For a female to room with male, in my opinion, a couple of things would have to happen - first - a full blown background check! You can't be too careful. Second - you would need to sit down and each person write their expectations as far as cleanliness, bills, overnight company, etc. Third, you should know what kind of person you are rooming with - he could be a jerk - with no personality, or he could be sullen and defensive, always complaining. He could be a pig and not care about your feelings. On the other hand - I have had some friends to confirm they feel protected and would not have it any other way.

I would be thrilled because a girl is gonna live (especially if she's HOTT!!) with me maybe that would lead to something else.
But then again your going to have to be all clean for your female roommate
can't do much guy thing if a female is there
so i don't know if it is worth it
HOWEVER
i am a neat guy, clean my room.So for me it would be a good thing.

not a good idea, leave a man and a woman in a room togther long enough, then they gonna probably do something they gonna regret.
