Can you generalise? The type of thing they talk about depends on their age, their marital status, whether or not they have children, their social activities, etc. "Gossip" usually means talking about other people and other people's business - and men are just as much gossips as women. Ugh, what a waste of time when you know there'll always be a BOOK more interesting than most people.
