I agree....that those who are really poor may not have carpet or a t.v. or even a washer and dryer..they may have to go to the laundromat, and they might not even have a radio....they might be so poor because it's just enough of a shelter to keep
from living on a street...and, sadly, they may be hard-core drug addicts....I know...as my sister was living on the streets for much of the past two years because of drugs.... =( So to that extent, maybe the only thing some people have is just a building to come in out of the cold...I know that is the extreme, but I know it's going on all over....no lights, no heat, nothing,...
