We need to be giving more money to the poor, open the bordrs with mexico and create free trade with everyone. Look at France and Sweden. They don't have any poor people and they aren't spending any money on their military. We need to get rid of our military because the Cold War is over.

Go ahead, give all your money to the poor. Just don't take my money and "give" it to the poor. That's not my generosity, it's simply your confiscation.
And I thought most liberals were AGAINST free trade.
Getting rid of the military will make sense only when we have one world government.

Actually, I know I am not very sensitive. Problem is we have so many people who are moochers and scammers that I have been somewhat desensitized to those who are truly needy.
