I for one am happy. You do wrong, you pay the consequences...and it doesn't hurt that it is her paying those consequences.

It's sad, only because she is human. She deserves justice as do we all. The consequences for her actions are just as they are for any of us. but;.
If you put yourself in her place, then what would your answer be? I would say, it is bad when anyone who goes to jail. However, Paris Hilton going or not going to jail is nothing new. She won't suffer as a result of it. It is no news or great Revelation that she will serve time. . She will probably get more News and Press time for this judgment.

I am pleased !
She gained her fame by flaunting her daddy's name.
She has made partying and disregarding rules "HOT
She is a role model for preteens to live up to.
I think it's great that she now can show that even if you are one of the richest, no-talent people in the world, there are still certain limitations.
The real question is:
How much more publicity will this get her ?

I'm kinda hoping they make a movie of it like those old drive in movies where you get trapped in a southern jail and can't get out and they make you work on the chain gang and the guards have sex with ya and you escape in a swamp full of snakes with dogs chasing you while you're stealing clothes off of clotheslines in the neighborhood. its the only way we're ever going to see her work for a living

Happy. It will teach her a life lesson. Her family may be rich but no one should be considered above the law. I think drunk driving really added to it though because it can be so deadly! I think she deserved it and...yes I am happy.
