She'll only do a week in jail...maybe 10 days. The Los Angeles County Jail system is so over crowded that doing a complete jail term is almost never heard of in Los Angeles. On the Brighter side, I guess she'll gain some empathy for those minorities and people of ethnicity that live and deal with police just locking people up and sending them to jail. All jokes aside...BFD! She will not do 45 days .She'll do 15 at the most.

I really don't know. I, in a way, feel bad for her too becuase she will never live the life of a normal person, and she will never know how real people get by in life and she'll never know how to appreciate what she has. She deserves to be in jail, and people shouldn't take pity on rich celebrities who break the law and get away with it all the time only because they have money and are popular.

Everybody?? News to me. Lock the ***** up. I could care less. A dose of reality might do her good. Besides, she'll just write a tell-all about how horrid jails are compared to her pampered princess life-style and make another 10 or 15 million.

I don't feel bad for her. It serves her right, and kudos to the judge for saying she actually has to do the time in jail, not under house arrest or electronic surveillance. It's time she learned there are consequences to her actions and she can't buy her way out of everything.

You may be right....Once she is detoxed (45 days in prison no tether or work release)

she should (voluntarily) go to a treatment program like the one at Sierra Tucson and then to Advanced Recovery Center....then she would be free from drugs.

It is a serious problem. It is difficult for most people to quit. No one can be forced into quitting. Luckily she has not killed anyone.

If she broke the law, she deserves to go to jail. There's nothing special about her at all.

I don't feel bad for her at all. I feel bad for the other prisoners who are going to have to put up with her! Now THAT'S cruel and unusual punishment!
