I have a fear of falling. So the only ferris wheel I will go on are the large ones with the circular seating pods. And then I put myself on the side of the pod that is looking INTO the wheel on the way down. That way I have no wide open horizon in front of me as I am coming down, to scare me.

omg, when i was 5 yrs old--1961--i went on the ferriswheel with my gram. it stopped at the top, and as it started to go again it jolted really hard and i slipped under the bar and was dangling. it took my gram what seemed like forever to pull me back into the seat. i was so traumatized that i had an extreme fear of heights until a few years ago...and i've never been on a ferriswheel since then.

I like being at the very top... I'm afraid of heights, and I always act like a 3-year old when I'm at the very top (and my bro makes fun of me for it), but I actually like it up there! I like a good scare every once in awhile.
