everytime a person's log in to their myspace account the little "online" thing appears.......well i heard the "online" indicating the person is online can be taken off......how do u do it? i dont want ppl to know when i'm online.

I think it is a trick to imply that u r available or something,u know there are icons just made with html documents you can have the icon if you want to or if you don't save the html it won't appear that is the trick.

Go to the Privacy Settings: http://settings.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.changeprivacy
Check"Hide Online Now" and click "Save Settings."

Yea, go to Account settings, then Privacy settings...hit Hide Online Now icon...
