I made this question like a month ago, when Sanjaya was still competing and I think since he left the the level of the show has increased, so I want to know if people has change their minds.

Not as good this year. None of the guys were very good at all. I can't believe people like Sanjaya and Chris R. made it as far as they did.

I was more interested in it last year. I'll admit, I would've had a heart attack if Sanjaya won. But there's no rocker on there now, and the main reason I was obsessed with AI last year was because Chris Daughtry was on there, and he was awesome. After he left, I stopped watching the show that season.
And somebody before me said that it got worse each year...I don't know, because I really only watched last year's Idol. All I know is that Kelly Clarkson was the first American Idol, and in my opinion she's the most successful. Carrie Underwood might be the only one who could possibly outdo her, but only if her second album is just as successful as the first.

I still think this year is weak. I so believe the integrity of the show was raised when Sanjaya left. This year's winner will not be as big as Kelly or Carrie, that's for sure.

American Idol only still exists because people would make out like your crazy if you didn't watch !!!! Those who wait for Simon's less than witty comments have no life at all. The fact that it is still on t.v. is a sad commentary on life in the U.S. Sort of like Jerry Springer.

I'm going to be honest with you, there truly is not one stand out contestant this year as in year's past. Last year you pretty much know that Taylor Hicks was it. The year before that Carrie Underwood and Bo Bice were stand outs. I don't think that they have had the same level of contestants this year.

i replaced into involved all the way by the teach final 12 months and for the previous 3 yrs the single i replaced into rooting for gained yet this 12 months i do no longer also have a fave. Do you remember bucky from final 12 months ? have you ever heard his new music i myself like it

i like the show because blake lewis gives something extra extra to it....... last year was just boring and the jugdes are awesome i love them......that sanjaia whatever his name is was just annoying..... i love american idol

I'm happy that he is out. He didn't have a really good talent singing, but in his style he standed out.
