Ya I rang up this number from the newspaper once, one of them flexible hour things with big money. A guy came to my house with a lot of catalogues wanting me to sell stuff to houses around my area. I had to knock on their doors and tell them all about the merchandise and come back later to get the order form filled out and money. he was really particular and a bit of an a**hole. So I went to work anyway, Just posted them in the letter boxes and went on to the next house, the guy was driving around nearby and saw me just dropping them on doorsteps, he went completely mental with me. I just shook my head and went home

The only time I've ever been fired, & things have been great since. Total relief. I've walked away from a couple of jobs in good standing & felt the same relief before. If you always give your best effort, there will be nothing to regret either.

No but I went on break on my first day and never came back, not even for my check. I was 17 and do not recommend this behavior though. I left because the manager was really creepy and I didn't feel safe around him.

don't know if i whould count it but I was working at Advencure land at the theater for one day then I got a better offer to work at a dinner show and left.
so, not fired but more or less quit

ha ha... you bring back a funny memory. I was 16 and working for a hole-in-the-wall company selling entertainment books for $20 each... we got to keep $10 for every book we sold. We had to actually deliver them in person... using our own car and gasoline. We sold TWO books. Had to deliver them. Came back for our $20 whole dollars. Our jerk of a boss handed us 20 bucks. We said, "But we each get ten... can you just give us two ten dollar bills?" He took the $20 and tore it in half and handed it back to us.... I called him a @hole and he fired me. I reported him to the better business bureau.... and they shut him down. HA.

when i was eighteen i got fired the first hour, at a store for giving the wrong change, o well there when my retail career.

No, can't say that I have. But I knew someone else who did. They took a nap when it wasn't their break time. lol
