You have to wait until 6 months old to give motrin, but you can give her infants tylenol. You'll want to call her doctor to get the correct dosage based on her weight.

No it's not too young, my son had some for all his shots.
I personally use Tylenol Infant drops (They have a concentrated suspension liquid that is easier to administer because you use a smaller amount....and now they have a dyefree version too)
But the dosage should be determined by the pediatrician.
Ask your pediatrician.
You can usually call the "on call" doctor at the practice and they can advise you according to her weight, what is the correct dosage.
Please don't do it yourself, call the doc and have them tell you the correct amount.
Good luck! :)

I don't think you can give Motrin, but there is infant Tylenol. I would suggest that.

a three month old little you'll teethe i'd not supply them a dill pickle although those are loaded with salt. i'd use a frozen teething ring, frozen wash textile or something like that. If the newborn is in countless discomfort you may supply some infant tylenol or hylands teething pills.

my pediatrician told me to give my daughter Tylenol (the smallest amount marked on the dropper) when she was 3 mo. but it depends on what your baby's dr. says. you can always call and find out if its ok.. if its after hours there should be an answering service who can deliver a question to the dr and they will call you back !
