launch a protest against their own corrupt governments ! don't they understand they'll wreck USA's economy undermining our government ? I gotta pay taxes !!

EXCELLENT QUESTION and ^5 . i think its alot of BS they came here by breaking the law. rules apply Mexicans are NOT in need of an amnmesty of refugee status. Both sets of my grandparents were immigrants, but they came in legally the right way. I say these people should be sent back and yeah let them go protest in their own countries when its their country's independence day they ride around with their flags plastered on their hoods of their cars and honk and act all proud so why the hell are they here? and we have even made our country bi lingual for THEM BUL S H I T is what it is! stay in your country and fix your problems there quit depending on the USA, sucking our resources up and most of all YOU ARE NOT EVEN HERE LEGALLY there is NO DANGER for you in your country. if I break the law here in the USA I go to jail I AM A CITIZEN so.. who are YOU to get away with breaking the laws, sneak in here and get a reward of being allowed to stay. GO HOME and stay there! there are alot of us here that will do your menial jobs that old adage is just so com-panies don't have to pay legal minimum wage.. get OUT!

Protesting against a seriously corrupt government is very dangerous; consequences would far exceed the bruises from foam bullets.
And no, most illegal immigrants have no clue that there is any limit to the wealth available in the U.S. Most of them have limited education and have no idea how an economy works.
Nor do they understand that our prosperity is related to our willingness to defend our country from tyrants and thieves. And I doubt that they fully appreciate that we have serious enemies now, like the ones we had in WWII. We are going to have to defend ourselves again.
I suppose they are like the hunters of the 19th Century who had no idea they could even reduce the numbers of passenger pigeons flying overhead, let alone make them go extinct.
The US serves as a safety valve for the discontented in Mexico; at least they can survive. If they had to stay in Mexico, there might be another Revolucion.
I think this needs to be made clear. If the immigrants are truly willing to throw in their lot with us, to fight our enemies and defend our freedom and way of life, they deserve a chance at citizenship. Otherwise, we may not be able to protect them much longer. They may need to carry on the struggle in their home countries.

The problem is that illegal immigrants are normally poorly educated people, they don't fit into their own society and come here trying to beat the odds, no English?, don't matter,
once in this country they offer their work for a lower rate (tax free) or better yet, seek public assistance, something that you and me don't have access to, all I know is that I have to pay a lot of money every year to our beloved uncle..☺

Coz it`s easier for them to just get out. Don`t know about usa but in uk they get benefits, all the best houses, rent paid, and other day a taxi driver was telling me uk has started giving them free driving lessons - so they won`t be so limited in the jobs they apply for. The government seem to forget the important point - THEY SHOULDN`T BE HERE !!!

Their country is already dirt poor. Now they're working on ours. They will bleed us dry unless we stop them. If the government won't do it the citizens will have to make a stand. This is an invasion.

I dont think their own countries have the same support and oppurtunity for advancement. That said, why dont they have a revolution or something to make things better in their god forsaken countries.

Since you are so smart, tell me why the europeans did not put such energy before they came to take land in this continent.
