No stars for you young lady.

Dude, I can't believe what happened. It now feels like a long time since I was 20, but 22 seems so recent.

A lot has happened since then, but I think it's hard to see how you've changed in that time.

I think I wrote some diary stuff around that time on my old computer. I think I'll go see if I ever moved it onto my new one. It'd be interesting to look inside my head back then.

This year's flying by so quickly too. May already. I'd just like to put the brakes on, take a few months off work, and rest for a while.
So tired.

I used to know an old guy, in his 60s. He used to say he refused to think of himself as any older than 21, and always tried to live with that energy and enthusiasm.

I don't know if I like that philosophy or not. Like Muhammad Ali says, the person who sees the world the same way at 50 as he did at 20...

But I guess you can legitimately carve out compatible aspects of both philosophies, for a cannibalised patchwork outlook on life.

I think of it like scraphead challenge for philosophy.

Robert Llewelyn would not be invited to present.

Unless he wore the Kryten suit.

I thought my world had come to an end when I turned 30 (kinda like milk turning and going sour, that's how my mind sayw it).... until I saw how much FUN I was having!!
Smile, and have a stunning day, it's really not the end of the world!

Well I'll be 29 in august, so I'm not far behind you and I feel really young too... and damn it I am really young ;-) people younger than us are just ridiculously young! You are in you prime now, a real woman, enjoy your birthday and don't worry about feeling old. When you are sixty you'll look back and laugh at yourself for even thinking you are old. I think people at thirty now are younger than they were in the past, the rules have changed as people live longer now. So you have nothing to worry about and we all feel the same...well at least I do ;-)

A Star is yours & on Sunday one is born. Life begins at 30..... (I'm older than you & still feel 17 in many, many ways). Age is a state of mind. Honest.

Well you're still young. Consider yourself next to the Bristle Cone Pine - which is 4500 years old and counting - or even the Earth itself at 4.5 billion years old.

You're just a whippersnapper really.

Besides, if you still feel you're 17 then at heart you still are. Happy birthday for sunday.

Just be happy in your skin. As you get older, you get wiser. Honestly, stop looking backwards. Personally-speaking, my life only really started getting good once I turned 30.
