I have never won an award (unless you count an outstanding calification in the yearly evaluation at work). Also, never had any luck wining prizes except in 2001; that year I won a washing machine (!), a man's Swiss Tissot wrist watch, a prop (a sword) from the film Moulin Rouge and a trip to Paris. Never before and never after have I won a thing!

My husband and I received an award for "Most Involved Parents" in my daughter's class during awards day. Shocked us a bit because we thought they only gave awards out to the kids. But it was great!

I was awarded one of 8,000 Alberta Centennial Awards for community service during Alberta's Centennial in 2005.

In 2000, I had gone back to school to get my diploma as I dropped out back in 1976, well I went back in 1998, graduated in 2000 & on graduation day, they presented me with 10 awards!
