They were all rescued on a two hour special, only to accidentally end up back on the same island at the end, so to answer your question: yes they were rescued and yes they are still marooned.

Yes. But the Marriotte hotel chain bought the island and turned it into a trendy resort. The castaways are all working for M/M Howell, who actually own it. The skipper runs the row boat rentals, Gilligan vandalizes the row boats. The proffessor teaches the guest how to make a radio out of a coconut. Ginger is in charge of the entertainment there. And Mary Ann is here with me where she belongs.

15 years after the show was cancelled they did a reunion where they finally left the island.

They built a raft and rode a hurricane to safety. So yes they got rescued.
