Fires at Midnight by Jethro Tull. It's one of the most beautiful, serene songs I've ever heard, but it has this air winding down, and contentment, but also of hope and things to come.
"Kindled by the dying embers
of another working day.
Go upstairs, take off your makeup,
Fold your clothes neatly away.
Me, I'll sit and write this love song
As I all too seldom do ---
Build a little fire this midnight.
Its good to be back home with you."

I know this is probably lame, but I'd want to listen to a Jimmy Eat World song. And the particular song would depend on whether I chose never to listen to music again, can't but I'm still alive, or can't because I'm dead. I love Night Drive [if I chose it as my last song to listen to], Disintegration [if I'm forced to never hear another lyric], and My Sundown [if I'm dying].
