I have light skin to and i am just looking for the right kind of makeup.

If your skin is more on the pale side, try using makeup that has pink in it, it will bring out the pink undertones of your skin and give you a healthy, glowing flush.
If your skin is more on the tan side, use makeup that is golden or brown. It will soften the freckles on your face and compliment your hair color, and if you have brown eyes, it will bring them out.
EXTRA TIPS
If you have pale skin and wear something like blue or green, it might make you look even paler because blues and greens actually bring out the color white, while other options like reds and oranges and purples bring out the color beige (tan).
It depends on your skintone and how you want to look.

I'm the same way, I use classic ivory in Covergirl you have to bring the bottle to your face or test it on your jaw to see which one blends. And I weare either brown black or black mascara, and a light to medium pink or glossy lipstick/lipgloss. Brown (light to medium, some shimmer) or rosy eye shadow. And if you want blush a light orange color should work.

Go to a department store and try one of the makeup counters. They will do a make up job on you, and suggest products. You don't have to buy all or even most of them. They are trained professionals.

omg. thats kinda hard. NOTHING RED OR PINK!! this gurl in my grade wears this red/pink blush and puts it everywhere. it makes her freckles stand out relly bad. Green would be nice or even like a brown eye liner

Lots of pastel shadows and brown mascara and liner. If you go with cool colored shadows, stick with pink lipstick. Warm color palet, stick with red or amber lipstick.

in my personal opinion i would say a light brown or beage if your not into those colours i would say a light purple...
