I'd say A. Or maybe you can combine A with B, replace the first part of A with the first part of B so you tell him, continue to be friends, and be there for him, hope this helped, good luck! =)

What is it about you that you think you deserve a liar for a friend? If he's your friend, I would hate to see what your enemys do to you hon. Learn to love and respect yourself or no one else will either.

the same thing happened to me and it totally sucked
unfortuatley i chose B and our friendship suffered for a while
he'll eventually end up t elling you and when they break up comfort him! or become really close to his girlfriend and tell her bad stuff about him so he'll break up w/ him. haha!
