When I agree with an answer, when I think the answer is funny (even if not appropriate), when someone has given an unwarranted thumbs down (especially those trolls who give thumbs down to every answer except their own), or when I think it's a sweet answer.

On the questions of others: If I thought their answer was either dead on or particularly clever.

I give them to every answer to my questions unless it's not appropriate. I also give them quite often as well.

When others give them a thumbs down and when i think that it is unfair. i give it a thumbsup to neutralize it a bit.
