there`s a good lotion made by fiesta sun, it`s called "git `r` done"...it`s really good for use after tanning...it has natural avocado, hemp seed oil & vitamins a, c, & e...it also contains l-tyrosine to help preserve your color...& it has a slimmimg complex to help firm your skin, plus it`s an anti-aging formula...i highly recommend this, it smells sooo good, kinda like vanilla & the price is good, only about $10 for a 22-oz. bottle!!! u can find it here:

i usually apply lotion after i tan if it`s going to be a while until i hit the shower...otherwise, i just wait til after i bathe...

I bought an after tan lotion from the tanning salon I go to and it works just like every other lotion. I would suggest you put lotion on after you shower and after you tan. Lotion helps keep your skin moisturized so you can hold you tan longer.

First of all, tanning is so bad for you, you could get skin cancer from it. My mom got skin cancer from tanning. Here is my advice to you, use a self-tanner. I have fair skin so I look really orange when I use them. The best thing to do is to use a gradual tanner first (like Jergens) and then apply a self tanner. The most realistic one that I've found is Strike Gold by Bath and Body Works. It is a self-tanning lotion with bronzer and it also has a little shimmer in it. It costs about $15.00 for a tube, and you will look darker after one use. I love it and I think that right now it is on sale on the Bath and Body Works webstie. I have friends that tan and they all use spellbound or bombshell.

After your shower while your skin is still slightly damp. Nivea Cream is the best
