I just don't want to work for the jerk anymore. But I'm too nice to say that. It's a pizza place and I've been asst. manager for 2 years and he's been manager for 6 months. He's a jerk. I have heart. WE CLASH.

Be sure to do it in writing- and keep it professional, not personal.

If you want to be nice, say that you found a new job and that you're sorry you have to leave. You appreciate everything he has taught you and wish him and pizza place the best of luck.

If you want to be truthful, say "I quite you a*hole" or just follow Meien's advise and leave one day and never return.

A nice way to give your two weeks' notice? Type it up, all nice and pretty, with date and reasons listed in a row. Hand it to him. Smile as you walk out. Don't talk to him unless he's groveling.

Don't leave your job, if you love it. Can you possibly get transferred? Just give them the notice after you found yourself a new job, a lot of companies will let you go.
