When do you give a question a star?

When people ask for it? When you are bored? Or you just do it anyways because of some mysterious reason?

I would give stars when the question is original, thought-provoking, or good in some other way. I don't give them when I'm bored, and if someone asked for one, I'd be less likely to give one.

I give a star when the question is interesting, or when it's funny or sometimes when people ask for the star in a nice way.

I "star" a question when I think it is a good question. One that has meaning and insight or where the person is asking for help that I think others may be able to help them with.

I give it to people when i think that their questions are interesting , funny, when they ask for em (if I think they really need it), and when I want to know the answer to a question that I also have, so I can look back on it.
