I received this email, plz read it and tell me what u thinkof it:
I think we should go bra-free after reading this article: "Bra and Breast Cancer Study" in the United States,
It was discovered that women with breast cancer had a history of
sporting tighter and longer bra-wearing than did the women who had not (yet) developed the disease. In fact, virtually the entire cancer group wore bras over 12hours. When a woman wears a tight bra, she subjects her breasts to pressure, closing off the lymphatic pathway from the breast to the nodes.
This causes fluid built-up swelling, tenderness and cystformation.
Toxins.must be flushed out via the lymphatic.
However, a bra-constricted breast cannot adequately perform
this cleansing process, resulting in toxin accumulation in the breast.
Truthfully, bras are creating droopy, weak breasts... ...the breast relies on the bras for artificial support; the body loses its ability to support the breast by itself.

I read similar claims on http://www.thecompounder.com/otherbras.php
I think the only way to find out if this true is:
1. ask an oncologist, or
2. do a real search, I mean search nih..etc for arcticles of such studies (showing the link between breast cancer an bra-wearing time).
the explanation of the link makes some sense, but "overspiced" to keep the email circulating :) !
there are some other claims I read long time ago, like "wearing a bra made from non-natural fibers, like nylon (esp) raises the breast's temp... and somehow leads to cancer, because breasts are meant to have a slightly lower temp, than the rest of the body.. !)
my suggestion: were comfortable, cotton bra's as much as possible, and have a rest at night :)) and live healthy, I mean try to avoid the more well-researched cancer-causing things, like hormones, pesticides.. etc. and relax (if you can)

I doubt this is true. Honestly, anything that comes in e-mail form (and has a vast amount of forwards) is not true. I would like to know where this article was published and the sources used before I would even consider doing this.

Personally, I love my bras. Otherwise, running or jumping would be very uncomfortable...not to mention the fact that they wouldn't be shaped nicely all day. I'd be a bit too embarrassed and I think it's disgusting when women's boobs are jiggling all around, but that's just a personal thing.

A few years ago, a book was published stating that underwire bras may cause breast cancer. This is completely untrue and there is are no credible studies to support that wearing an underwire bra can cause breast cancer.

BUT, you shouldn't wear tight bras unless you are working out or doing physical activity. You want them comfortable but not too tight.

I mean, I can see where they are coming from .
But I dont think there is nearly enough evidence to back that up. Dont you think Dr's would have discovered something as easy as this a long time ago.
Then what is causing cancer in other areas of the body ?

False.

80% of women in the world wear some form of bra, and we don't all have cancer. Its the terrible pesticide filled crap that America feeds us which is causing the cancer. They need to stop trying to blame it on everything else.

Nope. Suprisingly, there are actually a lot of women who wear they bra's at all times. Some women even sleep with a bra on. Bra's are what give you support, not make them droom. It's just a myth.
