I mostly buy branded products for their quality and durability.
They are completely different from the local products selling along the road side.
And if, they give us any kind of prestige, then nothing better than that.

Quality. You get what you pay for. Use grocery store shampoo and conditioner, face cream, and eye cream and your skin will age and your hair will be brittle. Spend a little extra money on higher-level products like oil of olay or tony and guy and you will see results in your skin and hair.
Or you can do what I do and spare no expense on beauty products. I personally use Bliss, Bobby Brown, and Shu Eumura products, and Aveda products on my hair. I constantly look and feel fabulous!
Don't get me wrong, there are some cheaper products that work wonders as well. Like the Aveeno line, they make great cheap body moisturizers and soaps.
Anyway yes....I have tried and tested branded and generic beauty producs and I would definitely say that I buy them for their high quality.

Quality.
I'd rather spend a bit more money on something just to save myself from having to buy it again because it wore out...
