True Romance 1993
Its my personal favorite and it is (believe it or not) an action/romance.
Directed by Tony Scott
Written by Quentin Tarantino (yup, he wrote this and with this paycheck he made Reservior Dogs)
Starring: Christian Slater and Patricia Arquettte
supporting roles include Dennis Hooper, Gary Oldman, a young Brad Pitt, Christopher Walkin, Chris Penn, Tom Sizemore, Bronson Pinchot, James Gandolfini, Michael Rappaport, and Val Kilmer (at least his voice)
The movie simply rocks.

None, romantic comedies along with any other movies that have to do with dating suck.,
Just enjoy an action flick like Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines.

I'd suggest "Casablanca" with Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. Or any of Alfred Hitchcock movies, as in "The Birds" and "North by Northwest" They have romance and action and suspense. Google HItchcock, and check out his list. You and your date, won't be disappointed.
