I didn't think I did. But I do have a horseshoe over my front door.

I do. In hoodoo, we use gris-gris bags or mojo bags. I make them for people, and use one myself. I had one made specially for my wedding. I also use the evil eye to ward off evil. I have two horsehoes in my home for luck as well.

If we assume that everything is made of energy and that we are all a part of the same thing, then thoughts are energy too. We know that crystals can store energy and even amplify it. If this can happen naturally with crystals, then why not through other things such as rocks, metal objects, or anything else. If the energy of our thoughts, our intent, can add or alter the energy of an object, it stands to reason that the energy within the object could be used to attract other, similar energy to itself. Maybe that's all a lucky charm is. In essence, we make a wish and place that energy into an object. The energy of that wish or desire is then made manifest in our lives.
