I'd be worried if she sings about a Mexican town (Acapulco) rather than singing unaccompanied (A Cappella). Does she sing creepy songs about the nether world like in a horror movie? Then I'd be worried about possession.

It is great she is picking up stuff like that a this age showes she is aware of things and she is using her brain
would you prefer she sat around and did nothing then i would be worried ,
the more she can sink in now the better baby's are like a big sponges at this age and will pick up every thing you say .
LOL wait till she is talking properly my baby girl is 24 months and repeats everything and is now just started telling little storeys it is so cute .

I sang long before I ever talked - starting at about 3 months with "nonsense words". Singing at 6 months, while unusual, isn't anything to be concerned with.
Be proud! You have a gifted daughter.
And on a side note I think you meant "a capella". :-)

Don't be ashamed, some kids just take more time to learn. My daughter came out singing.

You may have a gifted daughter there! Not to worry about her talent... but keep her challenged.

no, she's probably got a talent for music, try and teach her other tunes and see how well she memorizes and learns the tunes and rhyms then move on to better things like reading.

Yes, be very worried. Raising a gifted child is a challenge. It's one I'll gladly take, though.
