Because people cant see anyting else. You becme so wrapped up in yourself and your problem sthat the world just seems to be against you.
I agree that the little things are inconsequential but sometimes you cant help but ruminate on them.

may be to them these things are not stupid or alternatively : many people need to have something to worry about - it s a part of their nature, they don't even know they do it , they are not comfortable if there is nothing on their mind , so they would unconsciously peek anything to worry about to feel occupied .

technically you are worrying about stupid things in life if you worry about people who are worrying about stupid things. just get over it and quit letting it bother you.

that describes my best friend. always worrying about the things that dont matter, and not worrying about the things that really do matter. i think it all adds up to lack of self-confidence, and insecurities.
