Rome in what period? Now? Fascist period? 19th century?Renaissance? Middle Ages? Antiquity? Local government? Italian government? Government of one of the Roman Empires?

These days Rome is a city, with a city council and a mayor, but it's also the capital of the Regione Lazio and the capital of the Province of Rome, BTW.
