When I was married I was forced to sleep on the couch as my ex-husband didn't want his bed messed up with my period. Therefore sex was out of the question and I assumed this was the way all men felt.
Now I have a wonderful boyfriend and when I went to sleep on the couch during my first period after we had started sleeping together he asked why and after I told him he got mad not at me but toward my ex. To him sex was beautiful before, during and after a women's period. He doesn't want me to cancel a date or a night of passion just because it's my "time of the month". Instead he treats me like a princess with massages, hot compresses and lots of love!!!

My husband doesn't mind at all and I usually don't mind either. After my last baby however my periods have been very heavy for the first couple of days so we usually put it off until it slows down a bit. As for the mess, it's nothing a towel beneath you wouldn't prevent.

It's personal preference. If you don't want to do it, don't. If he gets upset, then don't date him. It's your body, not his.
I have done it before during my period and I personally prefer not to mainly because I am not horny then, plus it hurts.
Sex during your period has no effect on the length. That's a myth. It had no effect on mine.
To control any mess, wear a regular absorbency tampon.

I have had sex while on my period, i do not recomend doing it because it stops your cycle & starts it back agine so you end up going through your period longer. I dont know about you but i dont like having to go through that. My man diddent care for it much either becausa of the mess & your bodie dose not create it's natural lubracnts.

My guy friends always want to have sex with me when they know i'm on my period, but no i never do it because that's disgusting, very gross, but if you want to do it, do what you feel happy with. And if you choose not to let your guy be mad, he'll eventually get over it or just explain to him why your not going to do it.

there is no chance in hell i'd willing to clean up that mess man!!
far to messy and sticky for me. so no.
after explaining the mess factor, he understands and isn't too keen either!
if a man gets upset because you don't want to have sex with him at anytime, he's a loser and needs to be cut down a peg or two.
you're the one with control here, you choose what feels right for you. and don't dare let him think he can manipulate you okay?

Not only is it very messy and gross....
You are much more prone to infection if you have intercourse while on your period.
If he gets upset if you do not wish to have sex while you are on your period, then he is selfish and immature, and does not deserve such a great person like you.

We think its kind of gross to have sex while on my period, so its off limits down there.

my boyfriend doesnt, and so do it. i think its dirrty to have sex during your period. i have heard its a mess.
