this may be a silly question but i want to see what people think! i dont have a husband or children but sometimes i do clean up after my family. it gets annoying. and it gets old that people get so lazy to even clean up their mess.
I hate cleaning up after people who act like they have their mother around to clean up after them and then expect someone else to do the work for them(like at school where so many kids make a mess and dont want to clean it up).
LOL

I find it very frustrating, especially when they just seem to assume that someone else will do it. If you made the mess then clear it up. Simple!

I am very sorry, but your husband has changed and blamed it on you. He does not see anything wrong with his behavior. You cannot change him. He has to change himself and I dont see that happening with what you are telling me. You say he is hitting you that is unacceptable. Also, a marriage is a partnership it should be fifty fifty. This means he should help with the household chores and the child care when you are cooking and home from work. I understand you do not want the stigma of being a divorcee, but how can you live the rest of your life in this hell. You are a young woman and have plenty of years left to live. If you wrote this to vent, I hope you feel better, but if you really want advice. You need to leave him. You can take him back once he realizes what he has lost and begs for your forgiveness. Until then, you do not have to deal with this.

It depends on the situation. I was trained as a male maid and I work as maid one day a week at the moment so I do clean up after the lady I work for and her husband and I enjoy doing that. I like cleaning up after my wife but I do find cleaning up after we have visitors a bit of a chore but it has to be done and I am trained for it

Its become a national norm!. The throw away era has lead rise to the fortnightly bin collection. If we don't reverse the trend - and tell lazy family members their attitudes stink - then the problem will only increase. If we stand up now then our grand kids will not be subjected to mountains of indispensable waste. Good luck in your confrontation with the problem.

well my daughter is about 15 months so i currently have to clean up after her, but i am slowly training her to clean up after herself too. I dont mind it because she is just a baby and doesnt know any better. However when she gets older i will expect her to take greater responsibility for her own mess.
as for husband he is not too untidy, he is sometimes but not most of the time
i recommend you make a rota - get peoples names on the rota with specific tasks. If they dont do their chores you dock their pocket money. job done

Then why are you doing it? Let them be responsible for their mess. I can't even tolerate my husband's mess (he leaves trails of dirty clothes all over the house), let alone other people's mess. I don't think anybody enjoys cleaning up. If there are, they need help.

I absolutely love it. At university my room mates would never do their dishes or clean the house. I would get so excited about their mess that I would almost pee in my pants...
