Just a myth that was overcommercialized to sell conspiracy theories, books, and movies. The statistics for disappearing inside the Bermuda Triangle are equal to disappearing anywhere else in the ocean.

I cannot believe that the myth of the Bermuda Triangle and other rubbish like the Loch Ness Monster and the Shroud of Turin are still being discussed. They have been proved to be nothing but fakes so many times that the only mystery surrounding them is why people still believe.

Basically that it's a myth started by an author named Berlitz who made a fortune off his books (Invisible Residents). He said that terrible things happened because of aliens living beneath the sea . Idiots believed him. It's all been disproved (Bermuda Triangle Mystery - Solved) and other books and insurance companies charge no more for insurance of crafts that pass through it. It's just another monster under the bed or a boogy man.

i don't know that much, but it's location is part of the bahamian islands, maybe cuba too, and Bermuda. It has been noted that planes, ships, and people get lost {some never found} when traveling through there. It is known as one of the unsolved mysteries of the world.

Near the Carribean I believe it is a location that often losses radar and sonar reception and along with bad weather has taken many ships away from us. I think there has been instances were the crews dissapear and creepy stuff like that. Myths and legends abound.
