Your symptoms sound like low thyroid. This can cause a rapid heart rate and low metabolism. You can get a simple TSH test to see if this is the problem. Look up hypothyroidism on the web. Feel better.

Your heart doing this at night is often a symptom of worry and/or stress. It's similar to a panic attack, however the more you worry about it, the worse it gets as well.

Aside from seeing a doctor, please make sure that you have regular breaks from your computer. Every 3 minutes make sure you look away from the monitor, and remember to stand up and stretch often. As you work at a computer 5 days a week try to stay away from them at nights or weekends.

Exercise can be had in many different forms, such as walking up stairs instead of taking the lift etc. Try to find something simple that fits in with your life, instead of you trying to fit your life in with exercise.

As for eating, if you can't face large meals, snack frequently during the day. Small meals more often can actually help boost your energy levels and keep them balanced during the day. Find a list of healthy snacks and small meals that are convenient for you and your metabolism should kick in faster and you will have more energy and more appetite.

Good luck.

see a doctor....maybe something else is wrong. Get up and do something...even if it's 30minutes of walking.
