It really depends on your financial situatiuon but that sounds a bit cheap maybe 10 per day unless she does the shopping and everything else. Personally if you feel this way about women it is a shock you got a wife in the first place?. Grow-up and let your wife buy some nice things for herself once in awhile. Question how much do you give yourself because in marriage you have no my money it is all put together to pay bills and then you both have the same amount of cash to buy something you like.

You should be looking at it this way if you spend 100 a week, she gets to spend a 100 a week, otherwise you are being selfish and controlling!

No, what are women like? Does her spending money mean groceries and necessities for home? Or is it just money she can spend on herself? Somehow, knowing what husbands think about their money, you won't be giving her close to enough to be considered being taken advantage of.

Lol she's a blessed woman. Do men still give their wives money? and if so can you please inform Mr B of this revelation. I've never had any off him. That's why we call him Mr Bongo (tight as a drum) Still he's mine. I must stop buying him presents. If I add up 15 quid a week over the last 22 years that could add up to quite alot. Oh you give me ideas GREAT SUCCESS!!!

£15 per week sounds reasonable but remember to give it to her in coins. Maybe £2 per day and and extra pound at the end of the week if she has been a good girl. She might lose a note, you know what the pretty little things are like. Bless them.

LOL 15 ponds to do what with buy a snack. LOL, LOL, you really crack me up. Firstly if she isnt working then you need to give her more. Then it depends on her needs, if she need clothes and shoes or personal stuff thenyou need to give her enough to cover it. If she works and makes enough to take care of herself then you can give her money occasionally as a treat.

But you really are funny.

Maybe you should let us all know what women are like??!!! And explain to me why you feel you should be allowed to dictate an allowance for your wife?? Are you serious you sound like a barbarian. She's a woman..your wife actually...not a child. Maybe you need a handbook titled "How to treat a woman for the incompetent barbaric man" Maybe you could learn something. Hey...!!!! Does she have to pat her head and rub her tummy and jump up and down when she wants something to eat too??!!!!

What are you talking about? This isn't a parent-child allowance thing.

You're husband and wife - you should decide how much "fun money" each of you get together. That's right, you get a limit too.

Umm she's not a child getting an allowance. Your money became her money and vice versa when you said your vows. Sorry buddy.

Does your wife not work herself? She's not a 13 year old for you to be giving her pocket money.

Blimey that's a bit generous. A fortnight sounds a bit nearer the mark

Trust me mate if you spoil them they won't respect you.

You will probably get replies from some women but they will clearly be biased so you can ignore them.

Besides, in all probability they will be the feminist/lesbian/womens right type of people.
