Not me. It pulls me in. Well, it depends on the movie I guess.

It is a symptom of the general breakdown of society and the rule of law in that country. It has been a terrible few years for Pakistan since the Taliban insurrection, the Assassination of Ms. Bhutto, the selection of Zadari to be President by 'powerful' allies and now the floods that have literally ripped the heart out of the country. Hanging over it all has been the rumours of corruption and nepotism on a scale probably not seen since Nero ruled Rome and Maputo ruled Zaire. The total disconnect of those in high places with the average person is shocking. They seem to not comprehend the magnitude of the crisis Pakistan is going through. The Supreme Court of Pakistan and the Armed forces are the only institutions that seem to function but their ability to act is curtailed by the deafening mantra of 'democracy' coming from 'above'. Pakistan has the stamp of a democracy on its system but it is far from being anything close to one. Fear and bribery rig the voting process and those who are elected are all from the same families who have ruled from independence. This flood may be the final straw on the camels back, I fear that a revolution is coming and that a people long misled and oppressed will choose a worse system then the one now in place. The breakdown of Pakistan seems to have started while its Nero fiddles in Paris and London and what then? I hope that enough Pakistanis come together on a solid pragmatic platform to set things right. The Chief Justice of Pakistan and the other Supreme Court judges can only voice the anger of the overwhelming majority of the people at what happened in Sialkot. It is up to the Government to claw back some authority and make heads roll in the police department . Whatever those boys may or may not have done, NO ONE deserves to die the way they did or have their bodies displayed as theirs were. GOD help us all if that is what Pakistan has become.

Not really. The only time I have really been upset over a violent scene in a film was during one of the battles in Gangs of New York.

That's sort of a rhetorical question, imho. As violence in movies is an outlet for angry people to release their anger in a constructive way...lol The fact that violence makes you angry is kinda ridiculous. It's like saying does comedy in movies make you laugh, so you leave the theatre? Or does a scary moment in a movie scare you?
If the violence you are seeing in movies that causes you to get 'angry' then isn't it 'anger' that leads to violence. When you leave the theatre angry over the violence, do you go take it out on someone else, like Michael Douglas did in 'Falling Down'. The violence made him angry. His anger made him violent. And You? :-)

Normally I can seperate the movie and real life, but in Saving Private Ryan there was a scene where a guy got into a knife fight and ended up getting stabbed in the stomach. It wasn't that he got stabbed, but the fact that the killer pushed the knife in VERY slowly that got under my skin. Plus the character was very likeable so I was bummed.

No, I just get a bit freaked out and have to keep reminding myself that it's just a film, but there was this one time in our local town centre a kid was being bullied and that did make me angry. Me and my mate helped the kid get out of the situation.

Certain types of scenes. When I watched the Blood Diamond and they were beating the children, I wanted to turn it off. But other than that, no.

I get really irked when I see property destroyed, people killed, guns and heavy weapons fired... and NOTHING happens to the guy that's doing it. Not a cop in sight!
Me, every time I drink out of a glass container on the beach, a cop shows up. It really bugs me; it's nothing like real life.
